ムーミンの人形アニメ作品を紹介します。
日本ではセルアニメが有名ですが、1978～1982年に作られた人形アニメーションがありました。
アニメーションのスタイルは半立体のフェルトの人形が動く感じです。
あまり日本ではなじみの無いスタイルですが、ムーミンの世界観とマッチしていて日本のファンにも好評ですね。
ムーミンといえばフィンランドのキャラクターですが、制作はポーランドになるんですね。
原作者のトーベ・ヤンソンも関わりイメージに近いと評価していました。
ストーリーは5分ほどで、100話作られました。

日本ではDVDがいくつか出ています。
◎ムーミン パペット・アニメーション DVD-BOX (通常版) （2003）
吹き替えを岸田今日子さんが１人で担当しています。全78話 630分
◎ムーミン パペット・アニメーション DVD-BOX （2013）
松たか子さん、段田安則さんの2人で担当しています。全50話 500分
◎劇場版ムーミン パペット・アニメーション ~ムーミン谷の夏まつり~ [DVD]
野島健児、 水田わさび、他 ナレーション小泉今日子 87 分
2003年に公開された『ムーミン パペット・アニメーション』。内容は過去作品の小編集となります。
その2003年版を2009年に画質を大幅に修復し、ストーリーも再編集、声優もキャラクター別に付けています。
◎劇場版 ムーミン谷の彗星 パペット・アニメーション 通常版 [DVD]
高山みなみ、谷育子、他 75 分
2010年に過去作品を再編集してカンヌのフィルムマーケットで上映した作品です。
セルアニメ『楽しいムーミン一家』のメインキャストが日本語吹き替えを担当。
主題歌はビョークが担当しています。
劇場版は過去の話を再編集したダイジェストのようですね。いろいろと工夫しているとは思いますが・・・。
オリジナルにこだわるならDVD-BOXが欲しいところです。
DVD-BOXは2003年度版が78話で、2013年度は50話で、単純に話数で見ると2003年度版が良さそうです。
しかしながら2013年度版は画質が綺麗な上、吹き替えの評判もなかなか良いですね。価格は話数が減っている為かリーズナブルです。
収録数がオリジナルより少ないのは全部が面白い話ではないという判断が販売元にあったのかも知れません。基本は子供向けですし、ある程度面白い話に絞ったほうが良いこともあります。
でも･･･、やっぱり全話入れて欲しいなと思うのが人情ですよね･･･！
